The RockBass Alien Deluxe 6-string sits at the top of the heap of Warwick’s extraterrestrial acoustic bass series, boasting top-of-the-line construction and massive sonic versatility! This 6-string bass (tuned B-E-A-D-G-C) starts with a touch-sensitive spruce top, supported by laminated walnut back and sides for enhanced top-end presence and defined lows. Next, the robust mahogany neck is capped with a smooth wenge fingerboard, then finished off with 24 extra-high-jumbo/nickel-silver frets in an 47-inch radius — very close to being completely flat, Sweetwater’s most adventurous bass players find this radius is perfect for taking on the Alien Deluxe 6-string’s wide, wide neck. Lastly, while the RockBass Alien Deluxe provides impressive acoustic tones, a set of Fishman electronics perfectly translates this instrument’s acoustic response into the electric world, with a host of tone-shaping options ready to conquer any sonic challenge!
