To further boost its high-energy sound, Breedlove chose a hard rock maple neck, denser than mahogany, and an African ebony fretboard and bridge. The FSC Certified European spruce top is torrefied, which results in a more mature sound and tone and a top that’s less susceptible to movement with humidification changes. The highly versatile Concert body shape is well-suited for strumming and heavy play, and also shines as a fingerstyle guitar.
